  1. I'd like to nominate a friend from work. She is married to a guy who had a bad fall from a horse a few years ago and was in a come. He recovered and they have been living happily since although I know it's been difficult at times. Two weeks ago he was out shopping and had a fall. He hit the same place in his head and is now in intensive care. They are trying to tae his tube out but when they do he has a fit. If they manage to do that they will see what his future is going to be like. Mt friend has been - in her words - 'broken', but is holding it together and thinks there is now 'a glimmer of hope'. Whatever the outcome, she would really appreciate this, just to let her know she has people's love to lean on.

  2. Hi ShellyBobbins

I would like to nominate my Mum and Dad. Not only did they let me move back in with them when I moved up here but have looked after me while I've been sick and last month something nasty happened to me and I could turn to my parents knowing I would get their unconditional love and support! They stood by me and never doubted me for one second! I love them both to bits and would love to give them such a special gift :-)

    it's a lovely idea!

    Love Teri xx

  3. Hi, fantastic blog post! I really enjoy reading your posts and looking at your handmade products. I would like to nominate my mum, Ann. After a very hard childhood growing up in "care" and suffering from rhematoid arthritis, she has a smile on her face and has give me and my brothers the best childhood, despite the lack of true family in hers. Mum finds it hard with her arthritis and coming to terms with the fact she won't find her long lost brother, so I think the strength she has is inspirational. A heart would just show how much she actually is cared about. xoxo

  4. I'd like to nominate my coworker Catherine. Here job is probably going to be made redundant in the coming months and she's worrying a lot about her future.

    Sweet idea, Shelly!

  6. Hi Shelly!!
Once again I would like to nominate my fiance Jason.
He is in the Army now and working extrememly hard. This is now my 8th week without him and would like something to send him to let him know I am always thinking of him.

He has been thrown in at the deep end from living with me for 2 years and moving away and not being with anyone.

We continue to be a strong couple despite the distance and lack of contact.

  7. I'd like to nominate a fellow crafter I met on Twitter, called Michelle. She is battling with an awful illness and I don't know where she gets her strength from to carry on. Her partner is also very ill so she is very isolated but she never moans or complains and always has a kind word for everyone - she truly inspires me to be thankful every day. She also has an animal sanctuary but unfortunately as the illness worsens she will be unable to look after the animals so over the last few months she's had to rehome them all and she is totally heartbroken about it, which goes to show how completely selfless she is, travelling all the way from Ireland to the UK to rehome cats and dogs safely. I would love it if Michelle got the heart, I've never met her and with things as they are I'm not sure that I ever will, although I hope to see her in OCtober, but hopefully getting something like this will help her through the dark and difficult days she has ahead and let her know how special she is, both to me and a lot of other Twitter people too. xoxox

  8. I'm nominating my lovely mum- or as I call her 'mummy darling sausage!'

She is always there at the drop of a hat and was there when my son & daughter were born helping me stay strong when my daughter was born, then in the other room caring for my little girl when my son was born.

We've been through some tough times together!

    She is simply ace!

  9. I would like to nominate my twitter friend Claire @needaphone I have never met this lovely lady. She is so kind and gives me a smile with her blog about Rollie the cat she has. Claire Works as TA in school. Likes doing charity work and supporting various charities. There are not many people you meet on-line that you just know you can trust and would get along fine with if you were to live next door to each other.
