Shellybobbins Guest Blog & Review Imogen's Wardrobe

I discovered a really fun new clothing label for girls and boys age 6 months to 6 years, Imogen's Wardrobe. The business has been launched by Beth Cameron, designer and enthusiastic maker of all these gorgeous clothes. The idea was developed when Beth became a Mum and was inspired to start designing children's clothes to create a more flexible working environment.

The clothes are all handmade, organic, sustainable and ethical, which gives them an interesting, and guilt free, background story. Everything is made from beautiful and washable fabrics, including soft organic cream cord and lovely blue cotton, plus designer fabrics from Liberty and Cath Kidston for the trimmings.

Beth also includes a unique nursery story on each label so your little one can enjoy the tale attached to their clothing, how cute.

Imogen's Wardrobe is offering Shelly Bobbins blog fans a 20% discount for orders made directly from the Imogen's Wardrobe Facebook page in September www.facebook.com/imogenswardrobe just quote the code 'September offer' when leaving a comment. You can view all the latest designs and prices on the album photos.
Check out the little garment stories, including the little girl and boy pirate rhymes and see what Dotty Daisy has been up to on Beth's blog at http://www.imogenswardrobe.co.uk/ and if you have a minute subscribe, to the blog to get all the latest designs and stories

Windows Week in Wigton Cumbria "Toad Hall" invites ©Shellybobbins™

                                                                  Toad Hall Wigton

Windows Week runs every year in Wigton and in the past has just been artists this year artists are all grouped together in the market hall in fabulous displays, other shops in Wigton have given up there window for 2 weeks to give local crafts people a chance to be seen, which I was very honoured to be asked, by Elaine who owns Toad Hall in Wigton. This does remind me of Britain's Next Best Thing With Theo Paphitis from Dragons Den where Libertys of London & Habitat open there doors to some amazing talented people, everyone had to que up & pitch your idea direct to them ! maybe one day with my rag dolls designed & made in cumbria (dream) ~ and about time we had things BRITISH MADE. England has amazing people in it & what a great way to show off local talent by having "Windows Week" x

Ive been sewing for years but after being made redundant for the 3rd time I set up ©Shellybobbins™ after going on a business course & applying for grants to buy an embroidery machine, my prototype rag doll is in the process after 10months of researching, designing, learning all about the the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 that comes into force in July, So in the mean time Ive made other gorgeous gifts, Ive done lots of drawings & some have made it to the pattern stage (giggles) I really didn't know I was actually capable of doing any of this, until I had ago
